Lee Dunlop arrested on a sectarian breach of the peace because of his Neil Lennon prank photo gets charges dropped by Crown Office, about time too!

Dear All

When Lee Dunlop, a university student dressed up in a Postman Pat outfit and held a parcel marked Neil Lennon, the shit hit the fan.

The Police turned up and promptly nicked him in a dazzling display of ‘playing to the crowd’.

Now, after a re-think Team Mulholland has decided to not prosecute.

Why?

Because; it would be a loser, a waste of public money and tie up valuable Police, Court and Crown Office time!

Lee Dunlop; is only 22, a student at the University of Stirling and he was charged by police after a complaint was made about the photo.

Incapable of exercising judgment, they fired out to arrest him, Scotland’s leading ‘terrorist’, but decided not to blow his brains out with an MP5.

And they also didn’t call in the Americans!

He was charged with a sectarian breach of the peace by Central Scotland Police but the Crown Office said Mr Dunlop will not appear in court and the case was closed.

A Crown Office spokeswoman said:

"The procurator fiscal at Stirling received a report concerning a 22-year-old male in connection with an alleged incident on May 7. After full and careful consideration of all the facts and circumstances, Crown Counsel have now concluded that while the actions of the accused were in bad taste, there was insufficient evidence of a criminal offence having been committed, therefore there should be no criminal proceedings. The case is now closed."

In future when Central Scotland Police get some simple minded idiot coming in the door trying to cause trouble, they should remind them that wasting police time is also an offence.

Yours sincerely
