Multiculturalism is widely seen across Europe as having failed.
A little footnote to this Labour Party experiment gone wrong is a former asylum seeker who was given British citizenship and then went on to take another 'Life In the UK Test' for another person.
Barzan Sabah, 28, attempted to get citizenship as a 'favour' for a friend who was expected to fail the test.
So, what should happen to Barzan Sabah?
Well, he has been rightly jailed but he should also be stripped of his British Citizenship.
And sent back to Iraq!
British Citizenship should be amended to include a good conduct clause for a period of 10 years during which any infraction such as criminality means automatic revoking of status.
The college student had booked himself in to take the 45-minute exam to answer questions about various aspects of UK life.
Staff became suspicious when he presented a forged driving licence with someone else's name on it as proof of his eligibility.
They then called in the Police and he was arrested.
Nigel Evans MP said:
“Becoming a British citizen is one of the greatest privileges this country can bestow on a person born outside this country and should be treated as an absolute honour. This case has proven that you can’t cheat your way to British citizenship.”
Sabah, from Bradford, West Yorkshire is now been jailed for eight months for possession of a false document and four months for fraud, to run concurrently in one of the first cases of its kind in the UK.
Tory MP Nigel Evans condemned Sabah, saying Britain had falled prey to 'foreign predators' by his actions.
And as much as it pains me to agree with a Tory, he is right.
Evans added:
“People have died in wars to protect the British citizen and identity from foreign predators and it absolutely should be protected.”
In court, they heard that Iraqi Kurd Sabah, who fled Saddam Hussein and agreed to take the test for a ‘friend’ of an acquaintance he had met in a restaurant.
He agreed insisting the man made all the necessary arrangements and paid his costs.

The 'Life In The UK' test was introduced in 2005 under the Labour Government and requires applicants to answer 24 multiple choice questions on everyday needs such as housing, money, health and education.

Illegal immigration is treated as joke by those trying to penetrate British borders; they get caught and then released to try again.
At Calais under the cover of darkness they try to sneak onto trucks to get to Britain, this problem needs to be dealt with by the European Union.
Europe needs a new policy for both internal and external immigration to within the EU boundaries.
And the policy needs to be strict but fair.
