Standards and Privileges Committee of MPs give rich Tory millionaire George Osborne a slap on the wrist, he pays back £1,986 of taxpayer's money

Dear All

Tory Shadow Chancellor George Osborne is guilty.

His crime, he broke the rules on expenses, claiming money he wasn’t entitled to.

But little rich kid born with a sliver spoon in mouth isn’t paying the money back of his own free will.

It took a formal complaint and investigation by Parliament's standards commissioner before George Osborne would act to repay taxpayer’s money back.

In a statement he said although he acknowledged the breaching the rules, he passed the blame for his actions on to the Fees Office staff because he says he received “flawed” advice.

As I previously wrote yesterday, Osborne would be paying the money back but not be making a formal apology to the House of Commons.

The old boy network of the Standards and Privileges Committee of MPs has given him a slap on the wrist; in return, expect everyone else to receive similar treatment in kind.

The expenses scandal is one of the reasons why trust in politicians has collapsed right across the political divide everyone is tainted.

Even when caught they still wouldn’t be punished.

The sum of money, the £1,936 wrongly claimed has been described as relatively small.

For some people in Britain, £1,986 would make a hell of a difference to their lifestyle.

Not for Tory rich kid, George Osborne as a millionaire and heir to a fortune, it is small potatoes.

But it didn’t stop him claiming it!

Yours sincerely
