The Labour Party's foreign wars have all but run out of money, now more troops will die because of lack of resources

Dear All

Because of serial incompetence by the Labour Government to manage the economy the British armed forces could be forced to shrink by up to a fifth because of a lack of money.

The Royal United Services Institute is a military think tank; they predict that military personnel could fall from 175,000 to 140,000 by 2016.

With the Labour Party using the British Military for political purposes such as regime change in foreign wars, the forces are already at breaking point.

Already, a fifth of the current forces are unfit for combat duty.

The report by the think tank states that major cuts are "inevitable".

Major cuts will further put lives at risk as the forces get told to make do.

The helicopter scandal where money was stopped by Gordon Brown cost lives.

In trying to shore up the Government’s election chances The Ministry of Defence said budgets would not be cut at all next year.

Then if Labour keeps power the axe will fall as both the RAF and the Navy is asset stripped to keep the army going with men and materials.

I expect to see ships mothballed, training cut back and higher recruitment of part time soldiers of the TA.

In the short sighted knee reaction to fight in the Muslim wars, Britain will be unable to fight tactically in a conventional setting.

Given the report and the cuts in spending, it is clear that Britain has to get out of the foreign war market as it isn’t sustainable.

The cost of the Afghan debacle which has achieved the west nothing but propping up a corrupt Government shows that occupation is a drain on the life blood of the nation and its finances.

It is time to adopt a new strategy.

Yours sincerely
